,Wir lieben Kino’ was there and spoke with the leading actors Jerry Seinfeld and Renée Zellweger. The German voices Bastian Pastewka and Mirjam Weichselbraun also talk about their experiences as a bee.
,Bee Movie’ creator Jerry Seinfeld is enthusiastic about his buzzing stars: “The bee colony is a perfect community. The bees live a utopian life, without crime, without bad behaviour, without waste. They simply wake up in the morning, work all day, go back to bed and do nothing wrong.” Jerry Seinfeld identified so strongly with his role as the bee Barry B. Benson that “they simply took my head and put it on the bee’s body”.
And what would presenter Mirjam Weichselbraun do if she had to spend an entire day as a bee? “I would first have a look around all the L. A. dream villas, although I think there are a lot of insecticides in use there. Or Bastian Pastewka’s apartment, which would also interest me very much.” She should perhaps do that precisely when he, as a bee, “flies to the poppy meadow and sees whether Miss Kassandra, Maja, Willi and all the others are still there”.
