Director and graphic designer Rainer Ludwigs received an Award of Master at the Corporate Media competition in Bonn on 7 December for his image film about ThyssenKrupp Nirosta stainless-steel applications. Production locations included the listed former Bremen regional court and aerial footage around New York’s Chrysler Building.
The European Corporate Media competition recognised film and digital-media work, concepts and tools for the nineteenth time. The ceremony took place at the Haus der Geschichte in Bonn under the patronage of North Rhine-Westphalia’s Minister-President.
Ludwigs has worked as a freelance director since 1997 and as a producer since 2006. His clients have included ThyssenKrupp, Hachez, Airbus and Volkswagen. He describes the award as a Europe-wide mark of quality for production craft.
