On the portal, Polish users can now immerse themselves in Bigpoint’s game world without downloading or a console. The content of the media cooperation is the integration of Bigpoint’s browser games on the platform of Poland’s largest and best-known web portal. Wirtualna Polska has existed since 1995 and is one of the largest and best-known web portals in Poland. A search engine is integrated into the portal that counts around 6.1 million users per month and is thus even ahead of Google.
“The development of our cooperation in Russia, which began only in October, is proceeding very dynamically. Demand for online games in Eastern Europe is enormous”, says Heiko Hubertz, founder and managing director of Bigpoint. “Entering the Polish market is another great expansion in our company’s history. We are convinced that Polish users will respond to the offering with great enthusiasm.”
Bigpoint’s expansion is proceeding in great strides. With more than 10 million registered accounts and 30,000 new registrations daily, the Bigpoint games portal is one of the leading providers of browser games and is the largest gamer network in the world. In addition to offering the games on its own Bigpoint.com games portal, Bigpoint also offers the games to media companies and portals as a content supplement and additional revenue model.
