“It is impressive that more than 100,000 people have already downloaded Bento – even though Leopard has only been on the market for two months”, says Hermann Anzenberger, managing director of FileMaker GmbH, with delight. “We hope for plenty of feedback on the preview version and are confident that with Bento we can give Mac enthusiasts a wonderful tool for organising all relevant information.”

Bento was developed exclusively for Leopard (Mac OS X v10.5) and bundles all important information in one place through live synchronisation with Address Book and iCal. With Bento, Mac users can manage their contact data, organise events, track projects, catalogue items or record working hours. In addition, films, music and photos can be organised and related to projects and events. Information is simply linked together by drag & drop.

The public preview is time-limited and will run until the end of February 2008. Interested parties can download Bento at http://www.filemaker.de/bentopreview. The terms of use are enclosed with the software. FileMaker plans to deliver the English version of Bento in January 2008. The product will be available in German from March 2008 and is expected to cost 39 euros.
