The fanatsy adventure is about Dr. Parnassus (Plummer), who has the gift of influencing other people’s imagination. With his travelling theatre troupe, he gives spectators the opportunity to enter a magical mirror. There they find a world of unlimited imagination. But Dr. Parnassus’s magic has its price. He has made a pact with the devil (Waits), and now the devil demands his tribute – he wants Parnassus’s daughter Valentina (Cole) on her 16th birthday.
To save himself and his daughter, Parnassus decides on one final wager with the devil and and sends the entire troupe on an adventurous journey in and around London and through the wondrous world of the magic mirror.
