A place where there are only naughty children and no one ever laughs - can such a thing even exist? Christmas elf Eubie can hardly believe it when he arrives in Bluesville, where the mood is below freezing. On behalf of Santa Claus, he is supposed to provide a remedy. After all, Eubie is famous for his good humour - and often even notorious when he once again gets on the nerves of those around him with his habitual cheerfulness. But Bluesville is a tough nut even for him. The sun only rarely appears, darkness usually prevails, and it has long since settled over the souls of the inhabitants as well. Only when the elf, together with his friend Gilda, resorts to a very special plan does fate finally seem to turn for Bluesville and its people.
