ALLCapture 3.0 Adds Unlimited Screen Recording

ALLCapture Enterprise 3.0 records and edits real-time screen activity without a time limit using a timeline-based workflow.

A highlight of the new version is automatic recording of PowerPoint presentations followed by conversion to Flash. A new zoom function highlights specific passages. The recording mode allows users to pause, resume and stop a capture, while playback speed can be changed afterwards.

Audio tracks recorded at the same time or added later can accompany sequences with music or commentary. The application can cut, copy and paste frames. These functions support creation of screen videos, presentations, software simulations and tutorials, as well as demonstrations of software and website concepts. ALLCapture Enterprise 3.0 is compatible with Windows Vista and is aimed at professional and corporate users. A single Enterprise licence costs €249, while a single licence for the base ALLCapture 3.0 version costs €99.

The Enterprise version uses proprietary compression to reduce the size of demonstrations and videos. Its storage manager can move the temporary recording file directly to a hard drive or flash storage and lets users set the maximum amount of data written to RAM. This permits longer screen recordings without placing a substantial load on system memory.

The application records and reproduces fluid motion from online conferences and slide shows. Small output files are intended to reduce loading times when publishing videos or presentations online. ALLCapture compiles projects to formats including Flash, EXE and ASF. Demonstrations can also be published to DVD, SVCD or VCD or sent by email. The software is intended for marketing, sales, presentation and animation work.
