Deliveries were made to more than 200 countries. In Germany, the daily record was more than 880 000 orders on December 17. That is more than 10 items per second – on the peak day in the previous year, it was more than seven products per second.

Games consoles topped the list of the most popular Christmas gifts this year followed by digital cameras, MP3 players, flat computer monitors and video games. «We had the most successful Christmas business of all time. We will therefore continue to expand our service and offering next year,» said Managing Director Ralf Kleber.
