Computer games are poision for children

Federal Justice Minister Brigitte Zypries (SPD) generally agrees with Baden-Württemberg Minister-President Günther Oettinger (CDU) in his recent criticism of the media. Excessive television consumption was “undoubtedly one of the causes” of problems in raising young people.

“We know that children who watch a lot of television cannot learn properly,” the minister said on Wednesday evening on the N24- talk show “Links-Rechts”. PC games and games consoles were also “poison” for young people. Zypries emphasised: “The children neither learn social behaviour nor move when they sit in front of these things, but are inundated.” Oettinger had complained about harmful influences from individual television programmes.
