Twenty-six graduates of the communication design and media design diploma programmes will once again present their final projects from the disciplines of
graphic design, illustration, photography, multimedia and short film on February 8, 2008. Alongside the obligatorily broad spectrum of different forms of visual expression and subjects, design guides will also be waiting for visitors and will guide them through the exhibition on request.
The motto “ID08” is just as creative as the final projects. Read in English, ID stands for identity – read in German, it stands for idea. In both cases, the intention is to show how creative and at the same time individual the diploma projects are. “A great deal of personality, originality and the designer’s individual fingerprint can be recognised in every single project,”
Simon Zoller of the student organising team is certain.
All the projects can be seen at the opening and the subsequent exhibition in the foyer of the Faculty of Design at Wassertorstraße 10, 90489 Nuremberg (Building G). Admission is free. The exhibition catalogue is available during opening hours and can be found online at http://www.id08.de.
