CinePostproduction’s Geyer Cologne facility, a CineMedia Film AG subsidiary, selected a Lustre HD station. It is the group’s third Lustre system, used for light and color adjustments on film and television productions. Dreamwalks – Solutions for Moving Pictures handled consulting, sales and implementation. The Berlin branch had added another Lustre system the previous year, using the grading platform on projects including Egoli Tossell’s Breakfast with a Stranger.
“The Autodesk Lustre product family is a widely established system for digital color grading of film and television material,” said Autodesk Media & Entertainment marketing manager Thomas J. Müller. He said the HD version enabled customers to offer a complete HD workflow.
ARRI Film & TV also expanded its installation, adding a fourth Lustre and upgrading the other three Autodesk grading systems. The Munich studio, part of the ARRI Group, provides postproduction for domestic and international cinema and television productions and commercials. It also upgraded its visual-effects systems by moving from Autodesk Inferno to Autodesk Flame and updating a second Flame system.
