Tandberg and Nordhorn-based ENO telecom GmbH finalized a distribution partnership agreement on 18 February. Both companies aim to acquire new customers and strengthen their market positions. Tandberg is preparing ENO employees and partners through workshops.
Under the partnership, ENO telecom will market Tandberg Codian HD videoconferencing infrastructure products across Europe. “We have distributed Tandberg Codian products since June 2007, before Tandberg acquired Codian in September 2007. We now want to continue that successful partnership with Tandberg,” said ENO audio and videoconferencing product manager Petra Delbecque.
At the beginning of the partnership, Tandberg is providing sales and technical workshops for ENO employees and resellers using Tandberg Codian MCU systems from the 4200 and 4500 series. “It was important to us that the training was not limited to our employees. Our partners should also participate actively so that they become more familiar with the systems,” said Michael Lünsmann, head of the Audio and Videoconferencing business unit. Every workshop participant received Tandberg Codian Network Systems Technical Certification.
Tandberg sees the ENO partnership as an opportunity to open new distribution channels. “We want to further strengthen and expand our market position, particularly in infrastructure. ENO gives us a capable partner for pursuing that goal,” said Tandberg Central Europe managing director Thomas Nicolaus.
