From Wednesday, 27 February, ANIXE HD will move to transponder 75, which already carries Astra HD Promo, Premiere HD Film, and Premiere HD Thema, or Discovery. A simulcast will continue until 14 March 2008, with parallel transmission on the previous and new frequencies.
ANIXE HD is leaving transponder 119, where the high-definition pioneer transmitted alongside ProSieben HD and Sat.1 HD. The new transponder allocation is another step in preparation for cable carriage and audience measurement.
Nothing changes for viewers watching ANIXE SD on sister channel Lastminute.tv, with reception via Astra 1H Digital, transponder 103, horizontal polarization, and a downlink frequency of 12,460.50 MHz. ANIXE SD has shared that channel position since 7 January 2008. Reception of ANIXE HD through Kabel BW and T-Home is also unaffected.
