The exhibition will focus on the use of Dolby technology in personal computers, portable music and video players, and mobile phones.
Dolby Home Theater is an advanced technology suite intended to give desktop and notebook computers a cinema-style audio and viewing experience at home or on the move. Its digital signal-processing technologies support music, films, and games in surround sound through two to six speakers or headphones. Dolby will highlight products from Acer, ASUS, and Lenovo.
Dolby Mobile is an audio signal-processing platform designed to provide fuller, more dynamic sound for music, films, and television on mobile phones and portable media players.
“Portable digital entertainment is becoming increasingly popular, whether on laptops, portable media players, or mobile phones,” says Jane Gillard, PC senior partner marketing manager for EMEA at Dolby Laboratories. “Dolby is proud to improve the experience through technologies that users can enjoy. We have worked closely with manufacturers to integrate Dolby technology into products that can deliver compelling experiences.”
Dolby will also demonstrate technologies intended to improve home audio and video, including Dolby HDR image processing, Dolby Volume, and Dolby TrueHD.
