The CMS has already been installed successfully more than 26,000 times in German-speaking countries over the past three years.
“Demand for Contrexx has risen significantly in recent months,” reports Comvation managing director Ivan Schmid. “The content-management system for straightforward website maintenance is now available with both German and English user interfaces.”
Free Open-Source Version
Private individuals and nonprofit associations can download Contrexx Open Source free of charge.
“Contrexx is distinguished in particular by its simple, intuitive operation and high quality standards,” Schmid explains, and the results support his assessment. Whereas around 20 CMS installations were being completed each week a year ago, the current figure is between 30 and 60 systems per day.
With the English-language interface, Comvation is primarily targeting the United States, the world’s largest software market, opening the door to the global market. Requests for two additional world languages have already been received. “This step is a consistent continuation of our growth strategy. We are now looking for advertising agencies and web designers to become Contrexx sales partners,” adds management-team member Markus Binggeli.
