The dual-drive G-RAID2 can process up to four HDV streams or two uncompressed 8-bit SD streams simultaneously. The single-drive G-DRIVE Q provides FireWire 400, FireWire 800, USB 2.0 and SATA interfaces. The 260 g G-DRIVE mini measures 13 × 8 × 2.3 cm, draws power through USB or FireWire and uses a fanless self-cooling aluminium enclosure.
For higher performance in a compact system, G-SPEED eS combines four Hitachi 7200 rpm drives, a 3 Gbit/s eSATA interface and configurable RAID levels. With a controller, it supports RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10 plus JBOD.
The eSATA RAID controller can manage up to four G-SPEED eS systems, providing as much as 16 TB at claimed speeds above 600 MB/s. All sixteen drives can be addressed as one volume.
The 3 Gbit/s eSATA connection is intended for projects using multiple streams of uncompressed SD, HD or Apple ProRes 422. Drives and fans are hot-swappable for additional operating resilience.
