GamingXP Launches Print Magazine

German-language online games magazine GamingXP launches its first print edition on 28 March 2008.

The games magazine, aimed at frequent and casual players aged 18 to 35, will launch with a print run of 60,000 copies. This makes it Austria’s largest print magazine in the games sector, with additional distribution channels making it available to interested readers in Germany.

Designed for players who value high-quality, authentic and text-focused reporting on the entertainment industry, it offers news and first looks, previews, reviews and reports. Users also have access to downloads and an active community for discussion.

GamingXP describes itself as a current, time-sensitive publication for players seeking thoroughly researched and clear information. The magazine covers the full spectrum of available games rather than selected genres. GamingXP currently records more than 110,000 visits and 850,000 page views per month.

“We are very pleased that we can now fulfil our users’ request for a GamingXP print magazine,” says Peter Konhäusner, founder and owner of GamingXP. “There are already numerous games magazines, but hardly any that provide easily accessible yet thoroughly researched and substantial information across the full range of games genres for casual players as well as enthusiasts.”
