This is accompanied by planned revenue growth from €20 million in 2007 to €35 million in 2009.
With the Edinburgh branch, CANCOM now has its fifth UK location alongside its UK headquarters in Guildford, Surrey, and sites in London/Kensington, Brighton and Cambridge. Three further locations, expected to be in Canterbury, Portsmouth and Glasgow, will open in the coming months. CANCOM is fully committed to Apple’s Premium Reseller strategy.
APR stores are characterised by specifically targeting upmarket consumers as potential Apple buyers alongside the traditional B2B business. This is achieved through central city-centre locations and Apple-style interiors. High growth rates in existing APR stores, together with Apple’s growth expected by IDC to exceed the industry average, prompted management to take this strategic step, which will make CANCOM the largest APR in the United Kingdom.
Independently of this, CANCOM UK also expects a significant boost to business from the anticipated approval to distribute the Apple iPhone in the near future.
