British manufacturer The Pixel Farm used NAB to introduce the latest version of its automated review and clean-up system, PFClean 4.0.
In addition to Windows and Mac OS, the latest version now runs on Linux. The manufacturer promises more than 1,000 new functions in total, including improved media management, remastering, and export and import. Smart Folders allow automatic user-defined actions to be executed.
The timeline has also been revised, and grain management for working with film grain has been expanded. Work with material in different resolutions has also been improved.
PFClean 4.0 will be available from 1 May. The manufacturer has not yet announced pricing. The previous version sells from £8,000.
