The Softimage fmx/08 User Event offers the XSI Community the perfect setting to meet friends and colleagues, look at the work of world-renowned companies and artists, and make contact with the Softimage management team. The event is at 5 pm at the Friedrichsbau Varieté – Friedrichstr. 24.
Marc Stevens, the managing director of Softimage, also talks about his vision for the company and has brought the community an exclusive technology preview of Softimage|XSI and Softimage|Face Robot. The Softimage Special Achievement Award will also be presented for the first time at this event – one thing can be revealed in advance: the recipient of the honour is a German production company.

Binary Alchemy – Holger Schönberger gives XSI users an exclusive first look at the brand-new production “Descendants”. An animated film made entirely with Softimage|XSI, with high-profile support from well-known film figures such as Whoopi Goldberg.
Following the presentations, the Softimage Blue Hour starts at 19:00, with drinks and an informal get-together with the speakers and the Softimage team. You can either register in advance at softimage.com or pick up a ticket for the event at the Softimage stand at fmx on Monday morning.
