With the new AVX version, Boris completes its Final Effects Complete product family, which already includes FEC AE for Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro and FEC FxPlug for Apple Final Cut Pro and Motion.
The package covers a broad range of effects, including blurs, colour effects and stylization filters, with particle effects remaining a particular strength. Its Avid integration offers AVX 2.0 keyframing, 16-bit rendering, multiprocessor support, integrated motion tracking, spline masks with PixelChooser, “Apply to Title Matte,” real-time filters and on-screen controls. FEC AVX 5 also adds seven new transitions.
