Autodesk and Dreamwalks, a German reseller of Autodesk products, are inviting customers and interested visitors to a roadshow featuring the latest products from NAB. The focus is on new versions of Autodesk systems for visual effects, finishing and color grading. The 2009 versions of Autodesk Flame, Autodesk Flint and Autodesk Smoke were announced at NAB and have been available since the end of April.
Autodesk Lustre 2008 will represent the company’s color-grading system. At the roadshow stops, visitors can also try an initial extension for Autodesk Toxik 2008 for digital compositing. The latest versions of Maya and 3ds Max will also be presented at the events.
The tour will exclusively demonstrate every new feature and development in seven cities across Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
The changes in Smoke and Flame include extensive adaptations that make unrestricted project interchange possible for the first time. They also enable workflows within the systems to be designed much more flexibly, clearly and effectively.

Naturally, we are proud of the new features and options offered by the latest versions. What matters to us at events like these, however, is demonstrating how powerfully and efficiently we can design workflows,” says Thomas Müller, Territory Marketing Manager for Central Europe.
The roadshow opens at 2:00 p.m. and closes at 8:00 p.m. at each location. All visitors are then invited to the customary get-together.
