Whether television, film, radio, newspapers, or the internet, Bavaria is Germany’s number-one media location. In the greater Munich area alone, more than 185,000 people work in media at over 14,000 companies, and the trend is rising (source: Chamber of Commerce study, autumn 2003). This creates steadily growing demand for qualified young professionals—and that is precisely where MedienCampus Bayern e.V. comes in. Its mission is to promote and coordinate media education and continuing training in Bavaria.

An important task is to bring transparency to the diverse educational offerings of MedienCampus Bayern e.V.’s nearly 70 members. Additional campus portals were developed for this purpose, providing a fast, detailed overview of current course offerings within each segment.
