MAXON Computer, the German developer of internationally established 3D software for the creative industries, has announced the opening of its French office. Working closely with the French distributor of MAXON products CINEMA 4D and BodyPaint 3D, the company will provide improved support for users in France.
MAXON software is used worldwide in productions across industries ranging from architecture and medicine to advertising, industrial design, television and Hollywood films.
Eric Godey, head of the French MAXON Centre de Compétence, said: “Supporting the active French CINEMA 4D community is a very exciting task. We are pleased that we can now provide an even better service under the MAXON banner.” Godey has 20 years of experience in computer graphics and holds a degree focused on multimedia technologies.
Harald Egel, MAXON co-founder and managing director, added: “We have been focused on the French market for years and have seen steady growth. Now is the perfect time to send a clear signal to our French customers. We are delighted that MAXON’s fifth location worldwide will be in Paris.” MAXON’s French customers include brands such as Christian Dior, Chanel, PSA Peugeot Citroën, Airbus, Saatchi & Saatchi and L’Oréal.
