The latest washing machines are almost unrecognizable. They offer many sophisticated technical features and a particularly attractive appearance. To enable the design of its washing machines to be developed faster, in greater detail and more cost-effectively during the development phase, Miele & Cie. KG will now receive support from Realtime Technology AG (RTT AG). With the help of high-end visualization technology, virtual prototypes can be created to accelerate product development and substantially reduce the costly use of physical prototypes.
“After comprehensively evaluating various providers on the market, we decided to work with RTT. No other company has the same many years of expertise in the virtual design process,” says Andreas Enslin, Head of Design at Miele & Cie. KG. “By using virtual prototypes, we can develop our latest models faster and more cost-effectively than before, while giving our brand an even more innovative touch.”

Virtual prototyping uses 3D representations to make processes visible that can be observed on a real object only with difficulty or considerable effort. Through 3D models, designers gain an extremely realistic understanding of technically complex matters. This allows errors and problems to be identified early and resolved quickly.
