Students have been asked to develop a community portal for students of architecture and civil engineering. Three outstanding ideas will receive awards.
“The internet is the most important source of information when it comes to comparing software products, obtaining expert opinions or exchanging ideas with users. In the future, we want to make even greater use of innovative internet technologies and connect our target groups worldwide. That is why we are supporting the initiative by Macromedia University of Applied Sciences,” says Peter Mehlstäubler, Managing Director of Nemetschek Allplan GmbH.
In the competition, 80 students from public relations and communication, film, television and events are developing a portal intended to connect architecture and civil-engineering students worldwide. The emerging media professionals are also creating a brand concept and measures to promote the online platform.
The jury comprises university lecturers, architects and representatives of Nemetschek Allplan. The competition results will be presented at Nemetschek House in Munich on 26 June 2008, and the three best concepts will receive total prize money of EUR 5,500.
