T-Mobile today announced the prices at which the Apple iPhone 3G will be available exclusively from Germany’s leading mobile network operator starting July 11, 2008. “We are pleased to be able to offer the iPhone 3G at attractive prices and are confident that we can inspire even more people to choose the iPhone,” said Philipp Humm, spokesperson for the management board and Managing Director of Sales at T-Mobile Germany. “The iPhone 3G’s faster UMTS connection will further advance the spread of the mobile Internet,” Humm emphasized.
In combination with the currently most popular plan, Complete M, the 8 GB version of the iPhone 3G will be available for €59.95, and for just one euro with the two largest plans, L and XL. With the entry-level Complete S plan, the iPhone 3G costs €169.95. In each case, the contract term is 24 months.
The customized Complete plans will be adapted to the new device and include significant improvements for customers. For MultiSIM users, the included flat-rate data plan can now also be used in other devices.
Existing customers who already own an Apple iPhone with a Complete contract from T-Mobile will have access to an upgrade process that makes it possible to obtain an iPhone 3G before the end of the contract term. T-Mobile will announce the details and conditions of the upgrade process in good time before sales begin.
