Turtle Entertainment, operator of the Electronic Sports League, is cooperating with DICOTA. The globally active company develops and produces a comprehensive range of mobile-computing products. DICOTA is sponsoring the section for real-time strategy game World in Conflict in Europe’s largest computer-gaming league. The sponsorship begins on 1 July 2008.
As part of the World in Conflict DICOTA Challenge, players can compete in a ladder for three months. The 16 best World in Conflict players in ESL will then take part in a final tournament. DICOTA is providing high-quality prizes for the top three places: the E-Sports Bag PC transport case and two backpacks designed especially for notebooks, the BacPac Xtreme and Take.Off Sport.
“With DICOTA, we have secured a sponsor for our World in Conflict section whose products are enormously interesting to gamers. Players travel a great deal and have a lot of hardware to transport—and those who play well can now win the appropriate transport equipment in ESL,” says Tobias Heim, Director of Sales at ESL operator Turtle Entertainment.
“We develop products for people who travel frequently, and gaming does not happen only in the living room at home,” says a DICOTA spokesperson. “Anyone traveling to a LAN party, for example, can carry an entire setup in our E-Sports Bag: PC, display and plenty of accessories. Expensive hardware is optimally protected in a DICOTA bag and can be transported conveniently,” the spokesperson continues.
