- Capturing and importing videos
Import digital videos, photos and audio directly from a wide variety of devices, including DV, HDV and AVCHD camcorders and digital cameras.
- Creating and editing videos
· The solution enables an optimized HD workflow from importing footage through
editing in the original format to export. With state-of-the-art AVCHD
editing capabilities, including authoring, films in Blu-ray format can be created
on standard DVDs.
· With SmartMovie, simply select video clips, a theme and music, and the tool handles

· proDAD VitaScene is a technology for sophisticated effects, transitions and

such as dramatic lighting options for horror films.

The Boris Graffiti tool includes sophisticated 2D and 3D title animations for rolling or crawling titles, as well as preset fades, shuffles and zooms. Any number of text layers can be rotated, extruded and realistically lit in Graffiti.
- Distributing videos on DVD, YouTube and mobile devices
· Once editing is complete, simply transfer the HD material with fully animated menus
to a Blu-ray Disc.
· A single mouse click is enough to upload the finished product to video-sharing sites such as YouTube
and Yahoo! Video.

Availability and pricing
The complete Pinnacle Studio 12 product line has been available from retailers since June 2008. Recommended retail prices are €59, €99 and €129. Upgrades from all previous versions to version 12 are also available at http://www.pinnaclesys.com. Prices range from €69 for an upgrade to Pinnacle Studio Plus to €89 for an upgrade to Pinnacle Studio Ultimate.
