Digital Production, together with Missing Link, is holding a Wochendend seminar in Cologne. Two days, four speakers. The topics: Motion Graphics and On Air Design / Production Workflow in Cinema 4D.
Programme and Speakers on Saturday, July 5
Diseer seminar day covers the topic “Motion Graphics and On Air Design” and provides an overview from conception through production steps to completed on-air design and motion graphics projects. The production steps are illustrated and explained in detail using practical, real production examples. Workflow within the production also plays an important role, with many tips and tricks. Cinema4D and After Effects are the main tools used.
Klemens Ehret
Professor of multimedia at Ravensburg-Weingarten University. His teaching areas include film production, usability, web design and presentation. He also advises television broadcasters on further developing their programming. Previously, he worked as a department head in on-air promotion for Prosiebensat1 Media AG and developed Saturday evening shows for Swiss television.
Christian Roggy
has worked on productions for various TV broadcasters and production companies since the early 1990s. Since 1994, he has also provided customer training in broadcast/on-air design and promotion, as well as postproduction and consultancy in project and studio planning.

Workflow in Production

Programme and Speakers, Sunday, July 6
On this seminar day, the individual work processes (including Mograph and Bodypaint), project organisation and, of course, production workflow will be described using a real production (BMW commercial).
Björn Kowalski
Managing director and postproduction supervisor at Effekt-Etage GmbH. After more than a year at Walt Disney in Florida, he studied “Digital Media” and began working as a digital artist in Germany, South Africa and America. Today, as a VFX supervisor and director, he oversees commercials, music videos, corporate films and Flash video content. He supervised music videos for Depeche Mode, Lou Reed, Deichkind and Wir sind Helden, and works for brands such as BMW, MINI, Audi,VW; Adidas, Mc Donlads etc. His work won several awards, including Cyperlion Silver and ADC Bronze.
