Microsoft is organizing two important events about web and software development at ICC Berlin: the second German-language Xtopia conference on 17 and 18 November 2008 and Microsoft Technical Summit 2008 from 19 to 21 November 2008. Business decision-makers, software architects, web developers and designers will experience the latest technologies and learn about current trends in modern application design.
Xtopia 2008 focuses entirely on the web. Experts from Microsoft and partner companies will provide information in talks and workshops about current business opportunities such as blog marketing and advertising-based financing, as well as new technologies including interactive 3D web interfaces, AJAX and Silverlight. This year’s focus is on direct information exchange and communication among business decision-makers, web developers, designers, and experts from Microsoft and its partners. Several partner companies will also present themselves at exhibition stands and inform participants about their products and services during breaks. In addition to the regular conference, an Xtopia pre-conference with in-depth workshops will take place on 16 November 2008. Achim Berg, Chairman of the Management Board of Microsoft Germany and Area Vice President International, will open Xtopia with a keynote. Directly after Xtopia 2008, professional developers, technical decision-makers and software architects will experience every facet of software creation at Microsoft Technical Summit 2008.
