Legends do not need centuries: just eight weeks after being integrated into Gameforge’s portfolio, the free browser game ‘Legend Online’ already has more than 1.5 million players worldwide.
The successor to the action RPG ‘Legend – Hand of God’, which won the German Developer Award in 2007, moved from Master Creating to Gameforge in May this year. After ‘Ikariam’ and ‘Gladiatus’, it is already the third Gameforge title to pass the one-million-player mark in a very short time.
“We have made ‘Legend Online’ even more successful since adding it to our portfolio,” says Klaas Kersting, founder and CEO of Gameforge. “The fantastic graphics, challenging adventures in the fantasy realm and selection of different missions are delighting our players around the world.”
Players can complete up to five adventures per day in ‘Legend Online’. If they win the battle, they can use the loot to obtain better equipment or more effective weapons. Buying mounts is also worthwhile: a donkey, horse, hell steed or flying dragon can dramatically shorten journey times during adventures.
