CinePostproduction is strengthening its international sales activities. John B. Birchell Hughes brings the CinePostproduction team a technically accomplished and commercially successful industry expert in digital production and distribution workflows.
John B. Birchell Hughes is responsible for International Workflow Development. This enables CinePostproduction to meet the growing demands of international film producers and distributors, who need complete solutions for projects carried out at international production locations—from consulting and every aspect of film and digital post-production through to exhibition-ready films for conventional and digital distribution.
With investments made in recent years, CinePostproduction has implemented an integrated digital workflow at all its locations and provides every service from a single source, including film prints, HD broadcast masters and DCPs, digital keys, and the security-relevant processes for identifying and controlling the on-site digital cinema projector.
John B. Birchell Hughes has many years of experience developing digital workflows for theatrical feature films, including at Boeing Digital Cinema. Most recently, at XDC he was responsible for expanding DCI-compliant workflows by attracting international major and independent studios and distributors, and he played a significant role in the successful implementation of digital cinemas in Europe.
