IBC 2008: Tripod Controls for the TRIXY Remote Head

Following the launch of the TRIXY Remote Head last year, Panther is now offering convenient handlebar controls mounted on a tripod, enabling the remote-head system to be operated independently of a crane.

The tripod allows the handlebar controls to be adjusted individually to the user’s requirements. Both the height and the positions of the handles and CPU box can be adapted to the operator’s needs.

As before, the variable-friction arm with mounting plate (item no. 244RC) can be used to attach an LCD monitor, for example.

The fully digital Panther TRIXY Remote Head, with up to three axes, moves cameras into any conceivable position. Slip rings on all three axes provide unrestricted freedom of movement, while manufacturer-independent lens control ensures optimal control of zoom, focus and iris on video and film lenses. The TRIXY is designed for film and video cameras weighing up to 15 kg.

At IBC, Panther is showing a selection of its latest film and broadcast products in Hall 11, stand 11.E40.
