Cluster Audiovisual Media (CAM)
Digital Cinema in Munich
The Cluster Audiovisual Media (CAM) supports the HDF Kino e.V. initiative “Digital Cinema Roadshow” at the Munich location. Cinema operators and theatre managers receive a practical introduction to “digitalisation” in a one-day seminar on 24 September 2008 at the Mathäser Filmpalast.
The seminar covers the following main topics:
1. Description and demonstration of the cinema workflow (setting up a functioning server in the auditorium)
2. Integration into existing automation installations; networking in the cinema
3. Practical report from everyday cinema operations and a question-and-answer session with experts from technology, distribution and cinemas
4. Presentation and distribution of the “requirements specification” and the “network checklist”
The participation fee is 90 euros per person (plus VAT). The number of participants is limited to 40.
