Pure multimedia—the new E-series entertainment notebook is designed for uncompromised audio and video enjoyment. Equipped with an Intel Core 2 Duo processor and up to 4 GB of DDR2 RAM, the 16-inch WSXGA 16:9 display with an HD resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels and the second-generation Dolby Surround Sound system with two 2-watt speakers and an integrated subwoofer for dynamic bass promise excellent multimedia experiences, according to the manufacturer.
A SATA hard drive with a capacity of up to 320 GB provides ample storage for video, games and music. For optimum HD input, the integrated DVD Super Multi drive can be expanded quickly with additional external drives via the eSATA connection. In combination with a Full HD or HD Ready television, the HDMI output quickly turns any living room into a full-HD cinema.

Demanding content is handled by an ATI Mobility Radeon HD3470 with 256 MB of DDR2 VRAM. Multimedia enthusiasts do not have to sacrifice mobility either: Bluetooth 2.0, WLAN a/b/g/n and three USB 2.0 ports make it possible to establish an internet connection quickly almost anywhere. The 2.6 kg multimedia station also provides a 2.0-megapixel webcam and an AI Array microphone for video calls and chat.
Selectable preset usage profiles allow the MSI ECO Engine to extend battery life on the move by up to 20 percent. An integrated fingerprint scanner provides optimum security. The MSI EX620 is available from specialist retailers now.
