In Urania, a location has been found that gives the architecture sector in particular more room to present itself. In addition to the DCC sector, two further Berlin partners, Fides and BLP, have been found who will also demonstrate Autodesk solutions from the areas of building services and mechanics.
Sharing knowledge at a very high level is a major concern of the organisers. For the first time, “Lichtblick 4D Expert Training” is therefore being launched. Andreas Krämer (Techvis), former Alias Maya AE, presents “Reality Based Visualisation” in a 90-minute presentation using a product example from the automotive industry. In parallel, there is of course also 3ds Max Expert Training: in his 90-minute training session, Julian Hermannsen (visual distractions Ltd.) demonstrates effective 3D sets, rendering and post-processing for animated films.
In Media & Entertainment, Lichtblick 4D has found two first-class partners: Dreamwalks demonstrates Toxik 2009 and offers a free workshop the day before. Pilgram presents Showcase, located beside the Lichtblick 4D workstations where Maya 2009, 3ds Max 2009, Motionbuilder 2009 and Mudbox 2009 can be seen.
Another innovation is the Recruiting Area. Following the numerous requests for new employees last year, we would like to establish a Recruiting Area in partnership with production companies.
As every year, the entire event will be free of charge apart from attendees’ own food and drink. Many partners, exhibitors and sponsors are involved so that we can hold the event at all.
