Quiet, fast and elegant: Kindermann’s new series of bright business projectors is designed for demanding everyday work. Extensive connectivity—including DVI-I, component video, video, S-Video and computer inputs—allows playback from all common sources. Placing all connections on the rear of the projectors makes servicing and operation easier. The same applies to replacing the lamp or filter, both of which can be changed from the side.
Quick Power On/Off reduces startup and shutdown time to ten seconds. Particular attention was paid to reducing operating noise in the new projector family, which is now 29 dB in Eco mode. An eight-watt speaker provides sufficient audio playback for small presentations.
Numerous automatic functions, including source search, synchronization, ceiling projection and vertical keystone correction, ensure a good image without requiring the operator to deal with the technology. Security is also a priority: PIN-code protection, a Kensington lock and a six-millimetre steel bracket minimize the risk of theft.
The KX 3200 is the affordable all-rounder in the new family, with 2,600 lumens of brightness and XGA resolution of 1024 x 768.
The strength of the KX 3200 wide, with its ultra-wide-angle lens, becomes apparent at short projection distances, where the rule of thumb is distance equals image width. Otherwise, the projector matches the KX 3200, but with 2,400 lumens.
Where maximum brightness is required, the KX 3300 is the right choice. It also supports resolutions up to XGA (1024 x 768), but provides 3,500 lumens and additionally features a LAN connection (RJ45).
Where widescreen formats are needed, the KX 3250 W is used. It supports resolutions up to WXGA (1280 x 800) at 2,500 lumens.
The KX 3200 active specializes in interactive presentations. Its performance specifications match those of the KX 3200, while an additional built-in camera and special telescopic pointer allow the presenter to control the presentation directly at the screen.
