With integrated core logic, it delivers a fivefold performance increase, while its small size makes it ideal for today’s slim notebook designs.

The highly integrated NVIDIA GeForce 9400M features a single-chip design and high performance. It is specifically designed for notebooks and small-form-factor computers. With 16 parallel processing cores, it delivers an impressive 54 GFLOPs of computing power, making it currently the most powerful integrated GPU on the market. The NVIDIA GeForce 9400M provides graphics performance up to five times faster than Intel Centrino 2 (1), together with longer battery life so users can watch a full-length HD film on a single battery charge.

NVIDIA also announced today that Apple is introducing the new and revolutionary GPU in its Apple MacBook, MacBook Pro and MacBook Air products. Apple and NVIDIA worked together to use the combination of parallel computing power and energy efficiency in NVIDIA GPUs to provide outstanding graphics for mobile users as well.

“The NVIDIA GeForce 9400M architecture offers an ideal combination of graphics power and energy efficiency in a single, highly integrated solution. This allows our MacBook users to enjoy graphics performance on an entirely new level,” says David Moody, Apple’s Vice President of Worldwide Mac Product Marketing.
