CinePostproduction Completes RED Workflow with RED ONE Cameras

Four RED ONE cameras are now available from CinePostproduction. The company can therefore provide every service in the RED workflow, from shooting through finishing, from a single source, with a continuously calibrated pipeline from dailies to a 35mm print, DCP, or HD master. Producers, cinematographers, directors, and editors work in the familiar environment of a digital film workflow.

“Our experience handling RED productions such as the TV pilot BRAINS has shown which special considerations must be addressed during production planning and on set to achieve the desired look and an optimal post-production result,” said Matthias Saulich, technical sales at CinePostproduction Geyer Berlin.

Workflow specialists therefore discuss the requirements with the production team before shooting, covering camera specifications, lens selection, and data management on set and among all production participants, including post-production.

Three Autodesk Lustre suites with BARCO Digital Cinema projectors in a fast SAN environment are available for processing film or RAW data. Preparations are currently under way for post-production on Jessica Hausner’s feature film LOURDES, on which cinematographer Martin Gschlacht used a RED ONE for the first time.
