The new i-meeting ’08—The OS X Business Conference on enterprise solutions for iPhone and Mac—is attracting considerable industry interest. With 20 exhibitors and programme partners, the conference has a strong line-up. Its partners include well-known Mac-market companies such as brainworks, CANCOM, Intego, Kerio, Parallels and Topix, as well as major companies from the global information and communications technology sector including Oracle, Sybase (iAnywhere) and T-Mobile. Their involvement reflects the growing market segment for enterprise solutions in the Apple computer environment, including Mac, MacBook and iPhone 3G.

The two-day conference programme currently features 23 presentations, including contributions from market researchers, experts and users. A high-profile panel discussion on the use of iPhones in businesses will conclude the event agenda on the second day. Various company presentations will cover business solutions for Mac OS.

The conference is aimed at commercial end users and enterprise customers as well as vendors, consultants and retail partners in the Apple market across Germany, Austria and Switzerland. It is also expressly directed at customers and partners from the Windows environment who are interested in entering the Apple world. The conference programme begins at 1 p.m. on 17 November and ends at around 4 p.m. the following day. An evening event under the slogan “Macworking 2gether” will take place on 17 November.
