A northern premiere: the 3DTalk user meeting, held on 4 December 2008 at UCI Kinowelt Smart City in Hamburg, aims to demonstrate the wide range of 3D applications through cross-industry presentations in a combined conference and trade-show format.
The event, the first of its kind in northern Germany, aims to bring together manufacturers, professionals and interested users to discuss the latest trends in visualisation technology. Workflows from real productions, product innovations, and tips and tricks from speakers, artists and manufacturers will provide visitors with practical information.
Participating software vendors include Autodesk, Softimage, Maxon, Eyeon and Act-3D. Workstation manufacturer Hewlett Packard will also be present. The presentations will run in parallel in two auditoriums, allowing visitors to assemble a programme based on their individual interests.
3DTalk is organised by Hamburg systems integrator Picturetools. Admission is free following registration. Anyone registering on the 3DTalk website will receive an admission ticket by post from the organiser.
