Printing and Media Days North

A joint event organised by the northern and Lower Saxony printing and media associations from 4 to 6 November 2008, daily from 2 to 6 p.m. Admission is free.

Following drupa, the printing and media industry continues to experience technically exciting times. This was reason enough for the northern and Lower Saxony associations to organise their first Printing and Media Days North. “During these days, everyone working in or interested in the printing industry—such as printers, advertisers, media designers and architects—will receive information on three key topics: automation and digitisation, production factors in the pressroom, and practical assistance for reliable production,” said Stefan Brunken, Technical Director at Verband Druck und Medien Nord e.V.

Practical benefit is the central focus. Short specialist presentations, live demonstrations and on-site workflows will be offered on all three days. “All the speakers come from professional practice: Matthias Kuhn of Fujifilm Europe, Oliver Schönfeld of manroland and Christian Glauert of grafic house, to name just a few,” Brunken said.

An informal get-together will round off each day.
