Sony is taking its popular PMW-EX1 XDCAM EX camcorder on an extensive tour of Germany. All video professionals are invited to attend a free, in-depth training session with an independent professional camera operator, where they can discover and try out tips and techniques for the tapeless camcorder. XDCAM EX users and prospective customers will receive extensive advice and assistance to help them make full use of the versatile device and its modern workflow in everyday production.
The training sessions will take place between November 2008 and March 2009 at many well-known Sony Specialist Dealers and Sony partners. Sony’s PMW-EX1 combines a compact, versatile HD camcorder with recording onto modern professional SxS solid-state memory cards. Its features include full-HD resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels, three 1/2-inch Exmor CMOS image sensors, recording formats including 1080i and 720p, and numerous professional and creative image-making functions.
