iSale users can now use their iPhone to prepare drafts of their online auctions anywhere. equinux has released iSale 5.5, which can process auction drafts from the free iPhone app ‘iSale mobile’. With iSale mobile, iSale users have everything they need on their iPhone to create auction drafts at home or on the go at any time.
“iSale mobile makes optimal use of the iPhone’s potential to create professional online auctions quickly and easily together with iSale on the Mac,” says equinux CEO Till Schadde. “It has never been more convenient to photograph and measure the clutter in the basement, attic and garage, and create and record an initial auction draft.”
In iSale mobile, users can select any of the 222 iSale auction templates and specify the category, duration and starting price of the auctions. The iSale mobile user interface is based directly on iSale’s award-winning interface and, with its various themes, has the same look and feel as iSale on the Mac.
Without any additional configuration, iSale mobile automatically searches the local Wi-Fi network for iSale 5.5 and transfers all drafts to the Mac at the touch of a button. Alongside iPhone connectivity through iSale mobile, iSale 5.5 incorporates the latest eBay updates. iSale 5.5 already displays the new preview for eBay auctions and takes other changes to the online platform into account.
Price & Availability
The update to iSale 5.5 is available immediately and free of charge to all iSale 5 users. iSale mobile will also soon be available free of charge in the iTunes App Store and requires iSale 5.5 to synchronize auction drafts. iSale 5 is available from the equinux Online Store starting at €39.95 (including VAT) and runs exclusively on Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard.
