Blackmagic Design presents a new Windows-based software update for all Multibridge, DeckLink and Intensity models. Version 7.0 supports Adobe Creative Suite 4 Production Premium and Premiere Pro 4.0.1 on Windows XP, XP x64, Vista and Vista 64. The update can be downloaded free of charge.
According to Blackmagic, Version 7 gives Premiere Pro 4.0.1 users a simplified workflow with better broadcast video quality. The company also announces improvements to the integration of Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop.
New features include:
• Enhanced RT Effects in SD and HD in Premiere Pro
• DV 4:3 and 16:9 capture and playback support
• New “Edit To Tape” interface in Premiere Pro
• After Effects real-time preview at resolutions up to 2K 4:4:4
• Photoshop export support at resolutions up to 2K 4:4:4
Availability and price
Blackmagic offers registered customers free downloads of DeckLink v7, Multibridge v7 and Intensity v3 from its website.
