Autodesk Inventor Days 2009

Autodesk and its resellers will hold more than 150 free Inventor Days workshops at over 60 locations in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

The focus is the Autodesk Inventor 2010 product family, available from April 4. Designers and other interested attendees will receive a comprehensive overview of the new functions and capabilities of the 3D design software, along with other products required for an end-to-end digital product-development workflow using Digital Prototyping. New features in AutoCAD ecscad, Alias, Showcase and Moldflow will also be presented. These software packages are used to develop electrical schematics, design and visualize products digitally, and simulate the manufacture of plastic products through injection molding. The events generally last half a day.

“Designers have little time to keep themselves informed about the latest developments, functions or products and to stay up to date. However, using the software correctly, and especially using powerful CAD tools, is extremely important for a company’s productivity, profitability and innovative capacity,” said Wolfgang Lynen, industry marketing manager for manufacturing at Autodesk. “We therefore invite all designers, developers and design professionals to attend the events for an overview of the new functions and capabilities of Autodesk Inventor 2010 and Digital Prototyping. The events also provide an ideal opportunity to exchange ideas with other companies and benefit from shared expertise.”

Registration for Autodesk Inventor Days 2009 is available at http://www.autodesk.de/inventordays. In addition to the event information, participants will receive an Inventor bonus package comprising a CD with more than 100 useful tips and tricks, videos and white papers, plus the book “CAD to Go Inventor 2010.”
