The 10th Landshut Short Film Festival ended on Sunday, March 29, with an overcrowded awards ceremony and a new attendance record of around 4,000 visitors.
More than 170 short films from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland were screened over five days. More than 100 filmmakers attended, and the four festival cinemas drew enthusiastic audiences.
One prizewinner, who had attended several years earlier, praised the host family, the people, the medieval city, and the festival atmosphere as reasons for wanting to return.
