At NAB, ToolsOnAir is showing the complete workflow and tools from digitizing the video signal and building playlists through to studio or master playout. The system is complemented by the real-time graphics tool CompositionBuilder, which lets regional and local broadcasters display real-time information such as news tickers, weather, and stock-market data on screen.
The applications focus on a consistently intuitive user interface. The concept supports both 24/7 entertainment channels and broadcasters with live inserts.
Just:In digitizes incoming video signals and makes them available online to journalists and editors. Apple’s Final Cut Server provides a media-asset-management solution that works with Just:In. Video files can be accessed and editing can begin in Apple Final Cut Studio while ingest is still in progress.
With t:live, programmes can be produced in live and near-live situations. TV Station in a Mac is designed for broadcasters moving their transmission workflow to fully tapeless operation.
