Studio C at Munich Tonstudios is a unique space for post-production work. This 140 sqm suite includes a 7 m wide screen for digital projection with a BARCO DP90 P projector, and supports creative collaboration between colorists and camera teams.

With two additional suites dedicated to cinematic color grading, CinePostproduction now has six suites across Munich, Berlin, Hamburg and Cologne equipped with Baselight or Lustre and BARCO Digital Cinema projection for grading in cinema conditions. The integrated workflow and large cinema monitoring facilities allow directors and cinematographers to mix and grade in the final stage of post-production in close coordination.

Using Baselight’s data-driven workflow with over 200 TB storage, customers can move through workflow steps from color to delivery with minimal friction. CinePostproduction Bavaria’s neighboring sound stages also support this process. The next projects in Studio C after WINDMILL? MANNERHERZEN and Joseph Vilsmaier’s NANGA PARBAT will be graded in this same integrated environment.

The CinePostproduction Atlantik Film unit in Hamburg also applies Baselight with BARCO DP90 P for grading projects such as ZWÖLF METER OHNE KOPF by Sven Taddicken. The cinema-grade projector exceeds DCI and SMPTE requirements, while the color management pipeline is optimized for both film and digital cinema workflows.

For stereoscopic 3D work, CinePostproduction uses the XpanD solution across all suites.
